Leadership and service run deep in my family. I grew up in a Navy family, under the example of my father and grandfather’s service. I received my BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Villanova University before following in my father and grandfather’s footsteps as a Navy submarine officer. I served in the Navy all over the world for 8 years, including two deployments on the USS Tucson.
After leaving the Navy, I received my MBA from Harvard Business School and started Windward Legacy immediately after graduating. I focused my MBA studies on small and medium-sized business acquisitions and operations because I was immediately attracted to the idea of managing a small team, driving results, and sharing in the impact that businesses have in the lives of their employees and customers.
I am interested in business-to-business and home service businesses with $3m - $35m of revenue. I plan to move to the location of the business post-acquisition to lead and operate it as the CEO. I know that I can’t become an expert overnight, but will approach your business with humility and hard work, and will partner with you to design a transition plan that makes sense for everyone.
My wife, Monica, and I are recently married and I’m blessed to have such an amazing partner by my side. We are thrilled at the thought of putting down roots in a new community. In our spare time, we enjoy being involved in our church community, hiking, skiing, and spending time outside with our dog, Tucker.
